Interview with Nancy G - Brand Ambassador at Brussels Airport

What makes the airport a unique place to work at and what do you like the most about it?

It's a dynamic and international environment, with a serious dose of adrenaline. Indeed working at the airport is a little bit addictive!

What does customer service mean to you?

For me customer service can be summarised in 4 words: Attitude - the first thing a customer will notice is a smile and a welcome. Investigate - asking the right questions in order to be able to respond to the customer needs. Offer - render a perfect and quick service. Magnify - Proposing additional products and personal service.

Customer service does not stop at the buying decision. Reassurance on the purchase, accompany the customer from start to finish, thank him/her for their visit and wishing them a good flight is all part of the deal.

What do you enjoy most about working in the Travel Retail industry?

We want to spoil our customers so they can start their travel with a smile. Every day you meet people from all over the world. And with all the suitcases and backpacks you always have an atmosphere of holidays all year round.
